Do i have to bring my car to the manufacture for servicing?
Save moeny and get great service with a Log Book Service at Midland Autoplus.

Midland Auto Plus offer a warm, welcoming, family run environment where a young lady can bring a car and know that she won’t be taken advantage of. Pricing is very reasonable and all work carried out is explained in detail, in plain English. I would recommend Midland Auto Plus to anyone especially those who aren't mechanically savvy; they are mechanics that you can trust that care about their clients, rather than lining their pockets.

Brilliant family business. They have integrity, are trustworthy and honest. They offer value for service and money. They do an excellent job. They do not overcharge and women do not get ripped off. This is the fifth mechanic I have gone to in Perth and have been with the business for 6 years. They were recommended to me. I am a professional woman and have come across other professional people who have their car serviced there. I recommend them highly. I would not go elsewhere after my experiences in the last 6 years. Allan and Chris are great and Julie and the team. I can't get by without my car. I can't thank them enough for being such a great business.

Honest and friendly. They are a great family business who always look out for me. My car is very important to me as I do a lot of driving, they always work out the best option for me (if its a big job) and not what's best for their bank account.
They also cut the bulls**t out and word it in a way that I can understand instead of confusing me and scaring me into getting things done that aren't urgent.

all in all i was so happy with the service i got from Chris, he goes right out of his way to make sure you understand the problem with your car, and the best and most cost effective way to fix the problem, to me its another language when talking about anything under the bonnet, i know when i go and see the boys at the workshop they will look after me and my car like im family. cheers boys

Finally the mechanic of a lifetime! These guys are seriously all about cars, they treat you like a friend, not business and look after you very well. There is no doubt I will be taking my car there whenever I have a problem. If there is one thing you do for the rest of your life, it is taking your car to Midland Autoplus for a group of top mechanics to do what no one else does best, take care of you!
Cheers boys, you can bet I'll be back 100%, rain or shine!

Alan has been looking after my vehicles since 1989 and I continue to entrust my car to his care. Everyone at Midland Auto Plus is friendly and helpful, keen to do the best job at the best price and willing to take time to explain both the mechanics and the costs, ensuring that I make well-informed descisions about my vehicle. I have recommended them to several friends who are also happy with the service they receive.
I have been cheerfully given lifts home or into town when requested and have even been loaned a substitute car when necessary. Not only does Midland Auto Plus make me feel as if I am part of the family, they treat my car as if its family too! .

I have been using the services of Midland Auto Plus for the past ten years. Being a single mother, I rely totally on the honesty and reliability of the team to keep me on the road, which they always manage to do even though my old car was 18 years old. Now my children have got their own cars, they also go to the reliable team at Midland Auto Plus, knowing they can depend on their honesty and integrity. Highly recommended.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do i have to get my new car serviced by the dealer?
The short answer is NO, but of course their are conditions. Midland Autoplus meets all the requirements to maintain your manufactures warranty. Below is an extract from the ACCC outlining the the details.
If you have any questions please call us and we will be more then happy to help.
New vehicle warranty
Where a problem arises with the vehicle that is covered under the warranty, the vehicle should be taken to the dealer for repair. Those repairs should be done for free of charge under the warranty.
New and used vehicle servicing
In relation to general servicing, motor vehicle dealers are entitled to insist that any servicing performed on cars they sell is carried out by qualified staff, according to the manufacturers specifications, and using genuine or appropriate quality parts where required. Provided these conditions are met, regardless of where you choose to get your car serviced, your warranty will remain intact. So shop around.
Qualified staff is a party or parties, other than an authorised dealer, who is capable of performing car servicing. Some servicing venues display qualification certificates, but if youre not sure the staff are qualified, just ask.
If an independent agent implies that it can perform general car servicing to manufacturers specifications and does not perform that function satisfactorily, then you have rights and remedies against the agent regardless if whether the agent has factory qualifications or not.
Genuine or appropriate quality parts
The issue here is not who manufactured the parts, it is whether the parts are fit or appropriate for the purpose intended. If a part is non-genuine, but is interchangeable with the genuine part, it could be seen as being fit or appropriate for the purpose and would therefore not void the manufacturers warranty. However, it must also be noted that should the part/s installed fail or not perform satisfactorily, the consumer then has rights against the fitter and/or manufacturer of those replacement parts. If the non-genuine part fails, and causes some other damage to the vehicle, the dealer and vehicle manufacturer will not be liable for damage caused by the failure of that part.
