Resonable prices, honest, explains clearly whats wrong or required and does a good job. Been there four times, two work mates got there car serviced there and both reported they were very happy.

Honest and friendly. They are a great family business who always look out for me. My car is very important to me as I do a lot of driving, they always work out the best option for me (if its a big job) and not what's best for their bank account.

They also cut the bulls**t out and word it in a way that I can understand instead of confusing me and scaring me into getting things done that aren't urgent.

all in all i was so happy with the service i got from Chris, he goes right out of his way to make sure you understand the problem with your car, and the best and most cost effective way to fix the problem, to me its another language when talking about anything under the bonnet, i know when i go and see the boys at the workshop they will look after me and my car like im family. cheers boys

Finally the mechanic of a lifetime! These guys are seriously all about cars, they treat you like a friend, not business and look after you very well. Do i have to get my new car serviced by the dealer? The short answer is NO, but of course their are conditions. Midland Autoplus meets all the requirements to maintain your manufactures warranty. Below is an extract from the ACCC outlining the the details. If you have any questions please call us and we will be more then happy to help. New vehicle warranty Where a problem arises with the vehicle that is covered under the warranty, the vehicle should be taken to the dealer for repair. Those repairs should be done for free of charge under the warranty. New and used vehicle servicing In relation to general servicing, motor vehicle dealers are entitled to insist that any servicing performed on cars they sell is carried out by qualified staff, according to the manufacturers specifications, and using genuine or appropriate quality parts where required. Provided these conditions are met, regardless of where you choose to get your car serviced, your warranty will remain intact. So shop around. Qualified staff Qualified staff is a party or parties, other than an authorised dealer, who is capable of performing car servicing. Some servicing venues display qualification certificates, but if youre not sure the staff are qualified, just ask. Manufacturers specifications If an independent agent implies that it can perform general car servicing to manufacturers specifications and does not perform that function satisfactorily, then you have rights and remedies against the agent regardless if whether the agent has factory qualifications or not. Genuine or appropriate quality parts The issue here is not who manufactured the parts, it is whether the parts are fit or appropriate for the purpose intended. If a part is non-genuine, but is interchangeable with the genuine part, it could be seen as being fit or appropriate for the purpose and would therefore not void the manufacturers warranty. However, it must also be noted that should the part/s installed fail or not perform satisfactorily, the consumer then has rights against the fitter and/or manufacturer of those replacement parts. If the non-genuine part fails, and causes some other damage to the vehicle, the dealer and vehicle manufacturer will not be liable for damage caused by the failure of that part.
