Management

Rob is the boss, our illustrious leader. When he’s not spinning spanners in the workshop he is working on the business itself. Rob actually began his relationship with Amberley Autos as a customer with his Horsepower Hero winning Holden ute.

Ian

Management

The other boss. Ian is the originator of HPF, having started Amberley Autos over 30 years ago in Dandenong. He has a freakish knowledge of all things automotive and has yet to meet a problem he couldn’t solve.

Matt

Sales

Matt is our Performance Sales Manager, what he doesn’t know about modifying cars, particularly LSx engines, probably isn’t worth knowing. Matt has owned a myriad of different cars in his time, including a Windsor powered Escort and a 500rwkw Whipple blown late model Monaro.

Alex

Service

Alex is the Service Manager looking after the car servicing business of HPF. He is a true blue Ford fan but don’t hold that against him, he brings a world of experience in car maintenance from his beginning as a mechanic to a long history in service management.

Marty

Tuning

Marty is HPF’s EFI guru, you might even go as far as to label him a freak. Marty regularly does the impossible, including wiring, fitting and tuning aftermarket managements where others have failed. On top of this he can tune anything from a carbied big block to late model WRX’s and EVO’s.

Paul

Tuning

Whilst Pauls main role is that of a tuner you might also find him under a car performing all manner of performance upgrades. Pauls tuning abilities are legendary having been responsible for Horsepower Hero winning cars as well as Ford and Holden street tunes.

Brad

Workshop

Brad is one of the longest serving members of the HPF mechanical team and as such has a wealth of experience from general mechanical repairs to performance upgrades and fabrication. Whilst Brad is certainly not a dedicated Ford man his current choice of vehicles is a stealthy XR6 Turbo.

Brodie

Workshop

Brodie is the latest generation of the Weightman family to be involved with HPF, being the Ians youngest. Brodie is midway through his mechanical apprenticeship and has mastered taking over the sandwich maker.

Peter

Workshop

Peter brings 20+ years experience with all makes including Euros and domestic models. He practices what he preaches with a couple of hotties in the garage, an injected 351 powered XT Falcon and a Windsor in a Corolla!

Brad Jnr

Workshop

Brad is our junior most mechanic as well as junior most Brad. He is progressing well through the early parts of his mechanical apprenticeship under the guidance of Glenn and the rest of the team.

Dylan

Workshop

Dylan has been with HPF through his entire apprenticeship and as such has been exposed to all sorts of wonderful and not so wonderful cars. He spends most of his time looking after general mechanical repairs and servicing. Dylan represents the Holden crew with a tidy VS Statesman.

Mario

Detailing

Mario is HPF’s token thespian, performing in regular musical productions. When he’s not practicing those high notes around the factory he is detailing cars and running around the country side arranging parts and customer drop offs.
