Dyno Tuning
At G-Force Performance Centre we have a Dyno Dynamics 2wd
Is an ideal road test, giving us the ability to test vehicle in work shop.
We can vary Load, Speed , Acceleration rates, which covers almost all on road situations you mite find
Basically a test bench for your car. We can perform snap shots of various loads & RPM so Dyno records
Power, Torque, & Air/Fuel ratios at any point.
That lets us refer to those points to know what areas need improving, Then re-test again
The Dyno can perform acceleration power runs which log on screen
the Power, Torque, Air/Fuel ratios as we go after all AFR's are corrected right through RPM & Load range
we then do power runs which is great for adjusting ultimate ignition timing for your car, the power & torque figures tell us along the way
the end result is your engine will be tuned to its best. Something that cant be done on the road.
We can also do speedo checks which is handy for those with non standard tyre size.
Supercharging
Superchargers come in various types, Positive Displacement, Centrifugal, Twin Screw etc. Positive Displacement gives instant power [No Waiting]
But bonnet clearance can be a problem. Twin screw instant power but can create high intake temps.
Centrifugal makes it easy to intercool therefore keeping intake temps low.
They are not as instant in making boost power but make more more with RPM - Lineal Power that makes it nice to drive at cruise RPM. & they
just get stronger & stronger top end.
Any s/c uses up power to turn being belt driven. Turbo chargers make boost from exhaust pressure therefore not using engine power to turn a belt. Huge max power can be made but usually with the disadvantage of Turbo lag, meaning the bigger the Turbo the more exhaust pressure it needs to spool up with is where the lag comes from
Haltech ECU
A lot of factory ECU's are not adjustable, Lets face it factory ECU was never designed for maxium performance.
Haltechs after market ECU's are very adjustable giving the tuner the best way to control your engines performance.
Everytime we have fitted & tuned E Series [ E6X, E6GMX, E8 or E11 ] we have made significant power gains.
The E Series has been around for years but is now replaced by the new Platinum Series.
Haltech are developing more plug & play units
The Platinum Series has many new features, so check out there web site to see if there is a unit to suit your ride !
or give us a call as we are a Haltech Dealer
