Car Radio
Car radio and entertainment products are a popular upgrade for many motor vehicle owners. While new cars often come with advanced car radio technology, even modern vehicle owners often feel the need to upgrade the car sound system and other stereo devices.
Car CD players, also call head units, are a popular addition, and often car stereo upgrades will include more powerful and better-quality speaker systems. In some cases, an in-car amplifier is necessary to power heavy-duty car stereos, subwoofers, speakers and other in-car entertainment.
Car radio stores are now selling video screen head units. These head units are commonly LCD screens and can range between 4in and as large as is practical to fit in the car. Car radio stores often build "promo" vehicles to show the extent of their in-car entertainment ability, and this can include huge screens, colourful lighting displays and entertainment systems that incorporate PCs, PlayStation consoles and a range of DVD and media playback equipment.
